Not also easy to eat but also contains enough energy for working or studying in afternoons. It is covered in banana leaves which will bring a different flavor for your dumplings. Moreover, you can not forget when eating from the first time.

Vietnamese Pyramidal Rice Dumpling
 
From kids to the elderly in Vietnam fall in love with this Dumpling. So, are you ready to cook this amazing dish for your family and friends? You should follow these instructions carefully to create one of stunning Vietnamese Food recipes from our beautiful country.

Ingredients:

*** For Skin of Dumplings:

- 450gr flour for making Pyramidal Rice Dumpling (You should go to the Vietnamese Markets to buy) + 650ml broth (Pork or Chicken).

- Or you can mix these flour together: 50gr rice flour + 100gr tapioca starch + 650ml broth (Pork or Chicken) + seasonings.

*** For Stuffing:

- 200gr grinded pork
- 30gr black funguses, soak in water about 15 minutes, cut off the foot and sliced it
- 1 whole onion, peel off the cover, sliced it
- 2 cloves of shallot, peel off the cover, sliced and fried it
- Salt + Sugar + Pepper + Monosodium (Optional)
- Banana leaves and string.

Process:

*** For Skin of Dumplings:

Step 1: Boil the water (broth) and wait to get cold. Pour flour into pot and stir frequently until it is smooth. Then, turn on with small heat to do not stop stirring.

Step 2: Cook until the mixture is condensed and milky, turn off the heat. I suggest you should stir frequently, do not stop, if not, the mixture will be clotted and burned in the bottom of pot. Remember carefully this instruction, because you can create one of stunning Vietnamese Food recipes or not, it depends on this.

*** For Stuffing:

Step 3: Mix pork with pepper, salt, sugar, monosodium, sliced black fungus, onion and dried shallot together. Marinate about 15 – 30 minutes and fry about 5 minutes. Then turn off the heat and wait to get cold.

Step 4: Clean banana leave carefully. Wait to get dry. Then, you whirl it into funnel shape and add a little mixture flour into leaf.
 
Step 5: Add a little mixture of pork in the middle and add more mixture of flour to cover the stuffing. Cover dumpling and use string to tie carefully. Continue for making other dumplings. (Look this photo for step 4 and 5).

Step 6: Boil the water and then add dumpling into, steam about 30 minutes. Turn off the heat.
